Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 19 October 2026

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") form an agreement between you and M.A.E.S. Munasinghe, trading as Aureus Technologies, which operates Invotron ("we", "us", "our"), and govern your access to and use of the Invotron website and software service. By creating an account or using the service you agree to these Terms. If you are accepting them for a business, you confirm that you have authority to bind that business.

1. The service

Invotron is cloud software for running a business: point of sale, inventory, purchasing, customers and loyalty, staff and payroll, and double-entry accounting (together, the “Service”). The Service is provided over the internet as a subscription. We do not sell or ship physical goods.

The Service is a tool to help you keep records. It does not give legal, tax or accounting advice, and it does not file tax returns, EPF/ETF returns or other statutory submissions for you. You remain responsible for checking your figures and for meeting your own legal, tax and employment obligations.

2. Your account

  • You must be at least 18 years old and give accurate, current information when you sign up.
  • The person who creates the account is its owner. The owner can add other users (supervisors, stock managers, cashiers) and is responsible for everything done under the account, including by those users.
  • Keep your passwords confidential, give each person their own login, and tell us immediately at support@invotron.store if you believe your account has been used without permission.

3. Free trial

New accounts start with a 14-day free trial of the full Service. No payment card is needed for the trial and you will not be charged automatically when it ends. To keep using the Service after the trial, choose a plan and pay for it from the Billing page.

4. Plans, prices and payment

  • Plans and their prices are shown on our Pricing page. All prices are in Sri Lankan Rupees (LKR) and include any taxes that apply unless stated otherwise.
  • Subscriptions are paid monthly in advance. Each payment gives access to the Service for one month from the date of payment.
  • Payments are processed securely by our payment partner, PayHere (PayHere (Private) Limited), using Visa, Mastercard, American Express, eZ Cash, mCash, internet banking or other methods PayHere offers. We never see or store your full card details.
  • Subscriptions do not renew automatically. Before each month ends you will need to make the next payment from the Billing page to keep your access.
  • We may change our prices. Any change applies from your next payment after we have given you at least 30 days' notice by email or in the Service.

5. Late or missed payment

If a month's payment is not made, your account becomes past due and access to the Service is limited to the Billing page until payment is made. Your data is kept as described in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

6. Cancellation and refunds

You may stop using the Service at any time. Because there is no automatic renewal, simply not making the next payment ends your subscription at the end of the month you have paid for. Refunds are covered by our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the Service for anything unlawful, fraudulent or that infringes anyone's rights;
  • record false sales, invoices or accounts intended to mislead tax authorities, lenders or others;
  • try to access another business's data, or test, probe or break the Service's security;
  • overload, disrupt or reverse-engineer the Service, or copy, resell or sublicense it;
  • upload malware or content you do not have the right to use.

We may suspend accounts that break these rules, as described in section 12.

8. Your data

You own the business data you put into the Service: products, sales, customers, staff and accounts (“Your Data”). You give us permission to store and process Your Data only to provide, secure and support the Service. Each business's data is kept separate from every other business's.

When you record information about your own customers and staff, you are responsible for having a lawful basis to do so, including under the Personal Data Protection Act, No. 9 of 2022. How we handle personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy.

9. Availability and support

We work to keep the Service available at all times, but it may occasionally be unavailable for maintenance, for updates, or because of events outside our control such as internet, power or third-party outages. We will try to give notice of planned maintenance. Support is available by email and phone during Sri Lankan business hours.

Features that depend on your own equipment, such as receipt printers, barcode scanners and cash drawers, rely on that equipment and its drivers working correctly.

10. Our intellectual property

The Service, its software, design and the Invotron name and logo belong to us or our licensors. These Terms give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for your own business while your subscription is active. They do not transfer any ownership to you.

11. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, the Service is provided “as is” and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, such as lost profits, lost sales or business interruption. Our total liability to you for any claim connected with the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim arose. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Sri Lankan law.

12. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these Terms, that is used for fraud, or where we are required to by law. Where reasonable we will warn you first and give you a chance to fix the problem. You may close your account at any time by contacting us.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the Service changes. We will post the new version on this page with a new “Last updated” date and, for significant changes, tell account owners by email or in the Service at least 14 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the new Terms.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka. Any dispute that we cannot settle by talking to each other first will be decided by the courts of Colombo, Sri Lanka.
